“All I can say is, WOW. The Almighty has given me PURPOSE back in my life and He has used Jory to do it! I went from feeling like too little butter spread over a giant piece of toast, lost in the abyss in my work life, to being restored with confidence and guidance. I can now run my business with peace, knowing that The Almighty IS guiding me where I need to go.
My purpose journey started early in 2011. I was feeling lost and hopeless – paralyzed from making any progress at work because I didn’t feel like I was on the right path, but yet I didn’t know what the “right” path was or how to get there. So I stayed stuck in the abyss. My husband was worried about me, I would even come home and cry because I had no direction. My colleagues could tell something was up, because I stopped showing up at my regular functions, and started dropping the ball on group projects.
I have seen dozens of prayers answered since I began my purpose journey in early 2011. When Jory and I sat down together, we knew immediately we were not meeting by coincidence. I was a bit skeptical of the process at first, but Jory pushed me to move beyond my fears and be persistent anyway. One of my first prayers to The Almighty was to show me new ways to be able to connect with and hear from Him, and that’s exactly what He gave me.
I have been able to make changes in my work with confidence. I have been given specific direction and instructions from The Almighty that will keep me working towards my purpose, giving me more joy moving forward. But I also know there are some things I am going to have to wait for. But instead of feeling lost and anxious, I have been able to restore my trust in The Almighty that He has a plan for my future.
As 2011 comes to an end, I have so much clarity about where I am going. But I am excited about the mystery that surrounds my future, and the future of my growing family.”

“Thank you so much for taking the time to speak into my life; you’ve given me confidence to pursue my purpose more boldly!
I first came across your website after searching online for advice on finding one’s purpose. When I saw that you were also an SMU alumna, I thought, “what a coincidence,” then understood later it was no accident at all!
Working with you has allowed me to realize that my purpose is deeper than merely what I do; it is also the essence of who God created me to be and the blessing I can sow into the lives of others. Before working with you I had a vague feeling of what my purpose may be and was confused by a variety of options, but after working with you I have more clarity and confidence in my calling and creative work. I have become more motivated and organized in my business pursuits because I am able to refer back to my purpose statements as guidance. Thank you for sowing greatly into my life!”

“Jory, when you shared with me that you had uncovered your true purpose, my eyes filled with tears. I was teary because I felt a yearning deep within my bones to have a similar experience.
Suddenly I knew what was holding me back from living a richer life and why I constantly doubted my direction—I had never been able to access my Trusted Source and live a life ‘on purpose.’ Though I had been through many trainings and spiritual programs, they had all ultimately left me feeling like something was missing.
After completing the program with you, including doing ‘Parts Work,’ I am no longer searching for answers. I am now able to connect easily with my Trusted Source and confidently act upon the guidance given. For the first time in my life, I don’t have to second guess my path. I have an inner knowing and self-reliance I never had before.
Once I received my mission statement from my Trusted Source, I began to share and embody it, both professionally and personally. As a result, my business has grown, new opportunities are coming far easier than before, and my personal relationships have been enriched.
Jory, your dedication, heart, wisdom, and humor make you the ideal guide. It takes a very special and grounded person to lead someone on such a meaningful journey, and you are perfectly suited for this coaching role. I’m filled with gratitude for the gifts you have given me.”

“Jory, I am so thankful that God brought you back into my life when He did! I was just about to graduate from seminary and felt incredibly uncertain about the future. I had so many passions and even skills, but was confused as to how to best use my life to make a difference in this world. Searching for my purpose with your guidance and direction was exactly what I needed! It was such an enlightening process, and I loved the ways it drew me closer to God (my ‘Trusted Source’). I am confident that He will continue to use my life in strategic ways as I use the blessing He has given me and fulfill my mission in this life. Not only has it been a personally enriching time, but as I have begun my new career, all of our ‘purpose work’ has directly fed into my new job description. I have the confidence that I am not just wandering aimlessly. Instead I am purposefully headed in the direction that God has planned. Thank you for your diligence, encouragement, direction, and friendship along the way! I can tell you are living out your purpose. It has made a significant difference in my life. Many thanks!”

“Jory, I am so delighted to have worked with you to find my purpose! Hearing you talk about the process and the benefits you’ve experienced through the purpose work intrigued me, and I knew from your example that I would see significant changes in my life if I went through the process. I certainly have!
I’ve always been a Type A ‘work harder, push harder’ kind of person, even more so when I started my business. After making a connection with my Trusted Source and finding my purpose, I’ve discovered that being more intentional and even stopping certain parts of the work I was doing makes me feel better personally and allows me to work more effectively in my business. I’ve discovered what I’m here to do, and when I bring that to my clients… wow, everything changes, and I’m free to do my best work – which means that my clients succeed more quickly, then they’re able to do their best work, and the ripple effect just keeps going.
And working with you was a fabulous process. Even though we did all the work by phone, it felt as if we were sitting on the same side of the table, working together closely. I felt so supported through the process. You kept me honest and moving forward in a rigorous, supportive, and loving way.
Even beyond knowing my purpose and being able to bring that into my client work, the True Purpose™ process has taught me how to check in to be sure that I’m on the right path. I’ve developed a series of practices that keep me centered and living purposefully, and I’ve never felt better – even though I’ve had some significant personal challenges. Thank you, Jory!”

“Jory, God sent you into my life at precisely the right time. I was struggling with, “Where am I
going? What is my true calling and purpose?” As an experienced Marriage and Family Therapist, and a Career and Life Coach, I had reached a crossroads. My nest was empty. I had achieved my goals to become a skilled Life Coach, and yet something was not settled. What I needed was the process you’re so expert at conducting: helping an individual discover and affirm their True Life Purpose and Calling, their core essence, and how they express this calling in both their work and personal life.
Through the three month process of coaching with you, I have become much clearer about my unique design and calling from God. I have been able to sort through my areas of strength as well as the areas that need work. Most importantly, I am affirmed in my ability to hear clearly from God (my trusted source) to guide me, speak to me, and direct my path.
Jory , you are such a blessing: you come alongside, you encourage, you challenge, you clarify, you support. When I was discouraged, you gave me hope. When I was unclear, we persevered and came through with answers. When I needed resources, you were a fountain of resources and help.
Thank you for your kindness, intelligence, compassion, wisdom, and friendship. I look forward to years of friendship and companionship as we pursue our highest calling together.”

“I had the opportunity to work several months with Jory in a small group training she led for purposeful coaches. She really knows her stuff and was super effective at diagnosing when one of us had headed off in a less-fruitful direction and needed to be brought back on the path. My time and work with Jory returned some of the most insightful and important information which I now use on a daily basis to guide me.”

“Jory, it is a blessing that you came into my life several months ago. You began me on a journey to think about my career, my mission, my calling, in a very different way than I had previously thought of things. I am NOT a WOMAN; I DO HAVE A VERY STRONG FAITH (albeit Jewish not Christian); and I am NOT an entrepreneur! I listened. And I learned.
I never wanted to “market” myself. I thought it was prideful (sin) and even greedy (another sin) to “sell” myself. I thought just being a good person and a great pediatric therapist was enough.
But more than one of your blog-radio guests suggested that marketing was not only NOT A BAD THING, but a duty to those we serve. That changed my outlook and now my life. I have been working part-time without benefits or vacations for over eight years! Long story, but I sat down and figured out what I was worth. I told my boss I wanted to talk to her about a full time salaried position. I asked for a salary higher than I expected, thinking I would bargain for less. She not only offered me the position I wanted, but did not bat an eye over the salary I requested.
Yes, I had to do the work…..but I know in my heart of hearts that I would never have done this had it not been for your guidance! You get all the credit for being my “inspiration” and “coach.” It is as if you opened a door and I decided to walk through it. You ROCK!”

“Jory, it wasn’t a coincidence that our paths crossed when they did. I found your website, www.WomenFindPurpose.com, while desperately searching the internet for life coaches. I had reached a point in my life that demanded I make some positive life changes. The year before I started working with you, I had so many life events occur. I got married, left my job, and moved to a new town! I needed to regroup, find direction, gain a new perspective, and ultimately find my life purpose. I hesitated to call you out of fear that I might actually confront and find something new about myself. I faced myfear and reached out to you at just the right moment. My trusted source was definitely leading me to you! Your warm, friendly, and approachable personality is truly remarkable. You helped me through the process with such ease and compassion. As I proceeded to uncover my true purposeful path, I found that I frequently had an “AHA” moment when my life seemed to be in alignment with my true purpose. With help from you and my trusted source,I was able todiscover new things about myself which helped me to gain the necessary confidence to pursue my life-long dream of obtaining my masters and becoming a wellness coach. I am grateful to know such an inspiring and authentic person!”

“Jory’s Discover Your Purpose Starter Course has helped me look at my life in ways I’ve never done before. Why is that important? Because whether you are aware of it or not, patterns emerge throughout your life that give you clues as to what inspires and motivates you. You may be surprised by what you find out about yourself – I certainly was! You may even find out that what you thought brings you happiness is not what really does after all.
If you truly know what is important to you, then you can find ways to be involved in the types of activities that will bring you the most joy, whether it be a new career, a place where you can volunteer, etc. After I completed the Starter Course, Jory helped me see these patterns in my life and, as a result, I have much greater insight into my life’s purpose.
Thank you so much, Jory, for the valuable service you provide. I am excited about working with you further and moving forward with the plans God has for my life.”

“Jory is inspiring, encouraging, fun, and compassionate. I am a listener to her great radio show, Heart & Soul for Women of Faith. I also took the course Ethics, Risk Management, and Professional Issues for Coaches through the Professional Christian Coaching Institute. Jory was our instructor, and she taught in a manner that made the class an excellent investment. I was so impressed with Jory’s services that I hired her as my coach–another great investment.
I remember fondly one particular coaching session that I was especially moved and shared with Jory, ‘I cannot begin to put into words how far this coaching session has moved me along. I truly believe that if I had not worked through what we discussed today, I would have been missing out on so much that God is doing. Truly freeing, I went from dreading to talk about it, to feeling joy and PURPOSE!’
Thank you, Jory. That investment continues to make a difference in my life and the lives of others.”Sincerely,

The method Jory used was totally new to me, but my confidence was in her relationship with the Lord. As she guided me gently through the process, I knew Jory was the right coach to bring me through this heartbreaking state.
Her trained ear and dedicated heart were steadfast in working with me to reveal the truth of my essence, blessing, mission and message, which comprise God’s designed purpose in my life.

“Jory Fisher is my mother, but she’s also my mentor and friend. I’ve always looked up to her and asked her for guidance. Thinking about the rest of my life is scary and unknown—now I feel like I need her more than ever. Yet it’s not to hear her say, “Becca, do this.” Instead, she’ll say, “Explain the situation to me and we’ll discuss your options.” A coach is not someone who tells you what to do in life. Instead, a coach guides you into making the best decision for yourself. That’s my mother in a nutshell. She’s the most professional, accomplished, classy lady I know, yet she’s also warm and endearing and really cares about everyone around her. I’m so proud to call Jory Fisher ‘Mom.’”
