Most women start their entrepreneurial pursuits full of passion, drive, and energy. Even though highly motivated and committed to succeed many often lack the desire or ability to do the one thing that will make or break their businesses—SELL.
And there is one thing that is true in business, no sales means no business.
When Karen transitioned from corporate employee to entrepreneur, she saw firsthand that selling for someone else was much different than selling for herself. She also noticed that if she with a sales training background was having a hard time, then those without formal training were most likely struggling. This led her to sharing her learning so more women-owned businesses have the opportunity to thrive and profit.
Karen likes to point out by embracing the God-given qualities you already possess, you will find selling your services not only easy, but enjoyable.
About Karen Graves
Karen Graves, founder of Your Sales Fix, turns salesphobics into salesaholics. Frustrated by seeing women solopreneurs fail in their businesses due to their fear of sales and lack of sales experience, she has made it her mission to help them sell confidently so their businesses thrive.
After catching the sales bug as a sales rep and manager for Sales Training and Development for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals (and a few bumps in her own entrepreneurial path), Karen realized her gift is to teach other entrepreneurs the skill they need most—sales.
Karen’s mantra is, “Sales Is Not a Dirty Word!” She helps clients see they are naturally gifted at sales and teaches them how to handle objections and confidently close more sales. Ultimately, her clients grow their sales by becoming more of who they already are.
Karen is married to Donald and mom to daughters, Dominique and Dahni.
Karen’s Success Tips
To live a more purposeful life:
1. Take note of all the places you shine and “go there” often! When do you feel most passionate and fulfilled?
2. Unearth your gifts and talents and share them with the world!
Remember. When you’re using your gifts to the fullest, in service to others, you are truly doing God’s work.

Jory and Karen,
Thanks for sharing your wisdom! I really enjoyed and benefited from listening. So true, that often times women are raised to believe it is a fault, rather than an attribute, to be strong and pursue our gift. Great insight, Karen.
