This episode with Jennifer Glacken focuses on faith, leadership, and how loss can mold you into a stronger leader if you lean on God. “As a faith-filled entrepreneur, I thought my rock-solid faith would easily get me through life’s ups and downs. At 54 my outlook is different. Grief is a part of life. Things change and you have to adapt. God is with you throughout but that doesn’t minimize the loss. When a friend or family member passes away, it can be life altering. I’ve learned to accept me for me and how to calm myself down during stressful situations. Most importantly, I’ve learned to always go to God first. When you lead others, your experiences help you empathize and guide others. You understand where people are coming from and can see their brokenness. My past experiences have crafted me into the leader I am today. As I continue to grow, I hope I help others become the leader they’re meant to be.”
